Iplex supports native wildlife recovery facility

New Zealand's only native wildlife recovery facility is a step closer to fruition, large concrete exterior wall panels have been erected in Palmerston North's Esplanade as part of the Central Energy Trust Wildbase Recovery project.

The $5.6 million project, being built by Kynoch Construction, will care for birds and other animals treated at Massey University's Wildbase Hospital in Palmerston North and has been supported by Iplex NZ Limited with supply of pipe and fittings. When completed in early 2018 people will be able to watch the animals as they recover at the centre, which is New Zealand's only native wildlife recovery facility. It will include aviaries, an education centre and a physiotherapy ward.
